Optional Additional Payments

Information on our 12 month Holiday Park Licence will be available at reception for any owners wishing to take the option to occupy their holiday home during the winter months. The total Winter Fee to stay will be £1,130.00 (Approx.)

Electricity Charges

Annual standing charges of approximately £342.00 are levied for the supply of electricity, water and the uplift of refuse. This is subject to change from 1st April each year and is payable by all owners each year in July. The electric meters are usually read in September/October and all units used are charged at the current rate.

Calor Gas

Calor Gas is on sale throughout the year during normal Office hours. We also offer a delivery service on a Sunday throughout the summer season which changes to a Friday in the winter season.

Insurance

To enable us to conform to codes of practice, all caravans on the Holiday Park must be adequately insured.

We offer all of our holiday home owners insurance on a 'new for old' basis through A J Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited (Gallagher).

We chose Gallagher because their specialist team has over 300 years of combined experience and are adept at developing insurance packages to make sure you get comprehensive cover.

The rates are (inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax at the current rate):

  • £8.96 per thousand for replacement value of £35,000 to £45,000.
  • £5.60 per thousand for replacement value of £45,000.01 to £70,000.
  • £5.04 per thousand for replacement value of £70,000.01 and above.

The minimum cover for each structure is £35,000 with contents from £1,500. The standard excess for any claim you have to pay for loss and damage is £50.00.

The Holiday Home Policy includes:

  • Structure – covering the main dangers such as storm damage, damage to heating / plumbing through frost, theft, fire, flood, escape of water, lightning, explosion, and subsidence.
  • Contents - household goods, personal possessions and clothing inside the structures.
  • Accidental damage to your structures or your contents.
  • Damage caused by vermin.
  • Cover for alternative accommodation or loss of rent.
  • Conveyancing Cover - for a new owner when you have sold a structure but ownership has not yet passed to the new owner.
